Press Association.— Copyright. Sydney, September C. Tho sensational divorce suit Barley v Barley, wife’s petition, has concluded.
Petitioner brought a terrible accusation against her husband, who was captain of a coastal steamer, involving her daughter. Several officers of the steamer •and members of the crew corroborated the wife’s statement, but the medical evidence was flatly against it. It was also shown that the wife suffered from the opium habit. The Judge dismissed the petition and approved the prosecution -of all the witnesses for petitioner for perjury.
