On Friday next the Manawatu rep. team will journey to Wellington, and will meet on tho Saturday following the Wellington B rep. team. Tho President of tho Manawatu Rugby Union, Mr A. N. Gibbons, will accompany tho Manawatu players. Tho Selection Committee iiavo picked the following team: — Full-back : Trovona. T/iree-quartors: Martis, Hewitt, and Stalker.
Five-eighths : Skeliey, Carroll. Half: Ongley. Forwards: Boon (wing), F. Wingate, P. McMinn, W. Smith, Whisker, Shadbolt, Waldegrase (2). Emergencies: Kyle, Brown, Ryan Anslow, Walsh, Pirani (backs). Wellington, September 2. Tho Wellington B team to play against Manawatu at Athletic Park, on Saturday, is as follows ;—-Full-back, Read ; threequarters, Dawson, Gardiner, Twohill ; five-eighths, Wallace, O’Connor; hilf, Roberts; forwards, McGill, Heenan, Murphy, Bell, Rush.
