Hunterviile Branch. Tho quarterly meeting of Hunterviile branch of tho Farmers’ Union was held last Saturday at Mr H. J. Middlemas’ room and was well attended, upwards of 40 being present. Mr A. McGregor, branch chairman, presided. In the matter of tiro insurance inspectors for tho Mutual Fire Insurance Association, tho appointment was held over till next meeting. McGregor spoke at great length, protesting against the farmers being brought under tho Arbitration Act. At the conclusion a resolution to tt ( at ettect was passed unanimously. The usual routine of general business Was put through, and a rote to the chairman concluded a- niost successful mote lug.
