TAIHAPE.

(Froip. Onr Own Correspondent.) There is an Increasing amount of dissatisfaction at the doings of our City Fathers and a meeting is called for next Tuesday evening to consider the whole question of municipal government. We think that a Ratepayers’ Association will bo the next institution likely to result from Tuesday’s meeting. The weather is very wot and of course aux streets are in a groat mess again. But we do fool the benefit of the mud being scraped off, as we have not so far to go to find a bottom as before. Wo are in hopes that after this winter our streets will bo in a tip-top condition if the spending of the £OOOO loan is carried out judiciously.
