Amateur Championships. Pur Press Association.. Auckland, September 1, Tho finals of the Boxing Championships under tho auspices of the Northern Boxing Association, wore hold at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday night. The results were as follows Heavy weight: J. Lloyd beat H. Sandow. Middle weight; J. Gihnour beat J. McDermott. Light weight: R. Mayzo beat A. J. Blewdon. Feather weight: E. Saunderson won by default from A. Trosize (forbidden by bis doctor to appear.) Bantam weight; Ben Tracy boat J. Montague. __ „ Auckland, September 3.gJ Tho following teams were origiuallv picked to compete in tho Australasian Boxing Championships in Wellington Lloyd, heavy weight; Lewis and Gilmour, middle weights ; Mayzo, light; Trosize aud Sauudorsou, feather ; Montague aud ; Tracey, bantams; Blewdon aud Hash, welters. Lewis is unable to go and Fletcher has taken his placo. There is a doubt abut Gilmour and McDermott fills the vacancy if necessary.
