NOMINATIONS, WEIGHTS, ACCEPTANCES & GENERAL ENTRIES. Nominations will close at the Secretary’s Office, Marton, on FRIDAY, 16fch August, at 7 pan. Weights will he declared on or about the 21st August in the Rangitikei Advocate. Acceptances and General Entries on TUESDAY, 27th August, at 8.30 p.ru. Weights for Second Day’s Races will be declared ou WEDNESDAY, 4th September, at 8 o’clock, at the office of the Secretary, Marton. Acceptances the same evening at 9 o’clock at the same place. RULES. All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. All entries to be sealed and addressed to tho Secretary Marton Jockey Club, Marton, and entrance money to be enclosed with name of horse, age at time of entry, name of owner and trainer, pedigree, and colours of riders. All nominations by wire must be confirmed by letter by first mail afterwards. A hunter moans a horse whoso owner can produce at scales a certificate from the Master of any Hunt that the horse has been ridden to hounds during the past season to the satisfaction of the Master, and has neither won nor is nominated at the date of entry for a race of .£4o—Hack and Hunter races excepted.
