Mr Eedmond, in a speech at Ballybofey (Donegal) commenting on the Evicted Tenants Bill, denounced Lord Clauricarde and the House of Lords, and [complained bitterly of Mr Farrell’s arrest as an act of coercion.
Mr Redmond, speaking at Ballyberry, declared that tbe only chance of inducing the Lords to pass a comprehensive Laud Bill would bo Ireland’s inauguration of a strong menacing movement during the winter showing that she would refuse to ho trifled with. The country must cease fault-finding and proceed to business.
