Ter Press Association. Ciir.isTciujKCir, August 15. At the Supreme Court to-day, William Kirk was convicted of assaulting a constable and sentenced to two years’ imprisonment. Arthur Wellesley Nelson, the young man who left a letter on the Sumner Cliffs a fow weeks ago stating that ho intended to commit suicide but of whom no trace has since been found by the police, was called this afternoon to answer an indictment that ho had sold drugs for an illegal purpose. He did not appear and the recognisances, two of .£SO each, were estreated.
