Kharaa’s tribe owing to the bombardment of Casablanca are furious against Christians and wish to take revenge upon Mac Lean. Eaisuli protects the latter. The Gibraltar authorities are greatly inconvenienced by the influx of refugees from Morocco. The Daily Mail’s Tangier correspondent reports that Raisuli, m an ultimatum to Mr Lowther, British Minister, threatens to remove MaoLean to a distance unless his demands are instantly complied with. Paris, August 15.
A French destroyer has been sent to Larachc to reassure Europeans. French newspapers complain of tho limitations in tho instructions _to Spanish troops iu Morocco creating conflict with tho authority of the dual command.
