Goold twice violently attacked a fellow prisoner and threw himself against the door of his cell crying loudly to be let out. He was overpowered and ordered to be kept under close observation.
A number of bruises were discovered on Mrs Goold's body, indicating a recent sfcruggk, Freiich newspapers state, that the police consider that Mrs Gould" was the' author of tho muider and that her husband is a morphiomaniac, and physically and morally unable to resist her.
