PATENT MEDICINES CONDEMNED.
A Strong indictment Press Association. —copyright. Sydnky, August 12. Mr Reale's report on patent medicines makes startling statements regarding some soothing syrups and foods used for infants. It says certainly our grave* yards are paved with tho bodies of poisoned infants. The first and chief legislative remedy he recommends is to place infants under some protection by statute such as pigs, lambs, calves now enjoy—that is make the sale of improper foods a punishable-oftenee.
