The Mouowai sailed at 7 p.m. on Saturday with "Webb, the sculling champion, and the southern portion of N.Z. football team on board.

AVebb on being interviewed by a press representative before leaving said, "Stanbury will tell you we have a fine course on the Wanganui Kiver, and I <!o not see any reason why I should defend the championship elsewhere."
