In the course of his ' remarks Dr Ma-oa said tho delays had i been occasioned through no fault of tho Hospital Board. Tho Frontier and j Minister of Pnolic Health had given an , assurance that if there was ;i flaw in tho ; title deeds regarding the silo at Peliohot Bay Government would take all rosponaii bility, and if necessary a special act would be passed vesting the land in the Board. Tho erection of the' hospital could therefore bo proceeded with at once. Pending the erection of the building, which would take some eight or nine months, ho would see what could best bo done for tho care of cases of infectious disease that might arise.
