Tlio Trades and Labour Council passed a resolution dissenting from tlio Arbitration Court award fixing the minimum rate of wages in tlio general labourers’ case at Is an hour. In the discussion, tlio general opinion seemed to bn that it was little use giving evidence seeing that neither, profits, living wage, nor the question of extra special skill, appeared to have any influence on the Court.
