Press Association. Auckland, August 5. At tho Criminal Court, William Anderson, alias George, alias Williams, was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment for forgery and uttering. Andrew Lund lor theft from a dwelling (three counts) received three years. Walter Mark Kennedy, with a long list of convictions extending over 17 years, was sentenced-to two years for theft from the person. Bernhardt Mantor, a young man convicted of forgery rind uttering, pleaded for leniency, but was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment. Harry Marshall, alias Henry Fraser Marshall, with a number of previous eonviotipns for various crimes, was sentenced to two years for theft of a bicycle. Reginald Henry Dempsey for forging and uttering was sentenced to six months, Andrew Douglas Jlrenmer, who had pleaded guilty to horse stealing (two charges) at Drury, and was only 17 years of age at the time, was sentenced to four months.
