A FATAL ORGY.

Per Press Association. Nelson, August 2. A shocking fatality occurred at 10 last night, when a sipall tivo-stofoy building in Milton street was burned down and two men, John Stewart, a bootmaker, owner and occupier, and John Brown, engineer and fitter, wore burned no death beyond recognition. Tho two wore victims of drunkenness, 1 and had indulged in an orgy at Stewart’s from tho afternoon. A third man, Archibald Ogilvie, a coach trimmer, was witli the others In- the afternoon, but left some time in the evening, and hence is still alive.'The flre'ljcll sounded promptly and many’ arrived oil fho scene, but they wore unable to gaig admission. While the firemen were engaged a brick chimney toppled, and Eiromon James Whiting and Edward Woodward sustained some injuries. Subsequently tho bodies of Stewart gpcl Brown were found so charred ap to foe unrecognisable, but evidence that they were in the toihliug at folio time will bo given at tup inquest this afternoon,
