Stock Market.

Per Press Association. Chkistchcbcii, July 31. The vardiug of stock iu most of the Hues at the Addington yards to-day was only moderate, and last week’s prices wore fully maintained. The fat sheep pens contained some good stock of excellent cpiality, and the prices throughout wore slightly firmer. There was a very poor entry of store sheep, which met with ft ready demand, and last week’s fates were fully maintained. There was a very small yarding of fat lambs, and prices remained about the same as the previous week. Freezers made to 19s 6d, and light and unfinished 11s to 1-ls (id. The yarding of fat sheep was up to that of last week, and late rates were fully maintained. The range of prices was ; Extra prime wethers 27s to 38s Gd, prime 23s 6d to 26s Gd, lighter 18s Gd to 225, unfinished 15s 3d to 17s Gd, prime ewes 31s to 23s 3d, medium 16s to 30s, merino 16s 'to 18s, others to 12s 7d. The entry of fat Cattle comprised 357 head, mostly of good Steers made £6 5s to £l2, heifers £5 to £8 17s 6d, cows £4 10s to £9 3s 6d. The price of beef ranged from 30s to 25s per lOOlhs. There was a very fair entry of good veal calves, which made from Gs to £3 15s. There was a very fair yarding of stock and dairy cattle of poor quality, which mot with very dull sale. Dairy cows made up to £G 15s. Pigs were yarded in large numbers, aud were iu good demand throughout the sale. Heavy baconers made from GOs to 745, lighter 48s to 58s, equal to 5d per lb. Porkers realised from 38s to 445, equal to 5)Jd to Gd per lb, lighter sorts making from 38s to 38s. There was a large entry of stores, which mot with a fair sale. Good stores made from 35s to 35s 6d, and smaller from 14s upwards. Weaners realised from 11s 6d to 13s Gd.
