Australia’s Team

The Australian team will be : Full Back : Carmichael (Queensland). Three-quarters : Russell, Dix, Smith, Watson (Queensland). Halves ; MoKivatt, Woods.

Forwards Elanaglmn (Queensland), Barnett, Griffin. Eosewell, McCue, Burge, Bow, James Hughes. The Queenslanders have been housed and practising with the Welshmen for some days. Intense interest is being taken in the match and another record attendance is predicted. A suggestion that a third match between New Zealand and New South Wales should be arranged to determine superiority is receiving considerable support. Sydney, July 20.

Messenger’s non-inclusion in the football team is due to a sprained aukle. Brown will act as referee at today’s matbli in place of Martin.
