The steamer Fido from Ocean Island to Sydney with a cargo of phosphates, wont ashore last night on a reef outside Cargo Island, near the Tweed Heads on the northern coast of N.S.W. The crew and two passengers landed safely this morning. The latest report states the steamer is hard and fast and full of water. The sea is breaking over her and she is likely to become a total wreck.
