EDALJI AGAIN.
Press Association —Copyright.* London, July 19. The Hon. P. E. Smith, member for Walton, raised the Edalji debate in the House of Commons, protesting that it was cruel to refuse redress. Mr Gladstone insisted that the case had been sufficiently investigated. It would be most regrettable to convert the House of Commons into a court of criminal appeal.
