FIRE AT ONEPUHI.

A lire destroyed Mr James Signal’s residence at Ouepuhi, Martou, about 4 o’clock this morning. The flames had obtained a good hold on the building before discovered, and the occupants escaped through the windows. A few pieces of furniture were saved from the front rooms. The outbuildings and dairy were saved. The house and outbuildings were insured for £3OO in the Liverpool and Loudon and Globe. It is not known if Mr Signal had an insurance on his furniture.
