King Edward and Queen Alexandra had a great reception at Cardiff, where they opened the Alexandra Dock, which s is half a milo long and 1000 feet wide. In I honor of tho occasion the King knighted J the Lord Mayor, Mr Grossman, who is a I prominent trade unionist. King Edward announced tho early j establishment of a decoration bearing his j name for miners and quarrymen 'who i voluntarily endanger their own lives to j rescue others.
