The Union Bank has declared a dividend of 10 per cent, and a bonus of 2 per cent, the latter for sis mouths; £IO,OOO is applied to reduction of bank premises, £IO,OOO to officers’ funds, £BO,OOO as provision for depreciation of investments, £50,000 to reserve and £34,000 is carried forward.
