Press Association —Copyright. Sydney, July 8. An old woman named McNamara, who lived alone at Enmore, has been found dead in bed with a strip of calico round her neck and her head battered in. Robbery was evidently the motive as the house had been ransacked, but the robber overlooked £3O in a box. Sydney, July 9. Mrs MacNamara’s residence adjoined tho biscuit factory of her brother-in-law. A man named Lang, employed as a watchman in the factory, has been arrested. Two missing brooches and b loodstains were found on his person. Later. The man arrested on a charge of murder is an ex watchman of the factory named Baxter, not Lang.
