FOOTBALL.
Rangitikei SuhvUnion, A meeting of the Management Committee was held last evening. Present: Messrs S. J. Gibbons (chair), Saudford Cox, H. Saunders, J. A. Pawson, F. E bodes, and G. Hathaway. The applications of A. J. Ingle and L. Northover for reinstatement as junior players were refused. The secretary of- 'Wanganui Eughy Union wrote advising that a portion of the vote made by the New Zealand Union for Primary Schools Competition vrould be allocated to the Sub-Union. It was decided to present the winning team in the school competition with an enlarged framed photo of the team. The Mar ton school v. Turakiua school match was fixed for Saturday, July 13th, It was decided to suggest Saturday, July 13th, as the date for a Senior “rep-” match against Wanganui, at Wanganui. Messrs J. A. Pawson, 0. E. Gibbous, and G. Nicholson were appointed a Selection Committee for the representative team. , It was decided to allow boys taking pari ;u the s'chool competition to insure in the Union insurance Scheme.
