THE KIA ORA WRECK.
Serious Developments. Per Press Association^ Auckland, July 2. When the Court resumed investigation of tho Kia Ora wreck this morning Mr Mays, solicitor representing the Marine Department, said there had been serious developments in the case which would necessitate a further adjournment to obtain the attendance of several witnesses. Morrison who was at the wheel from 10 to 12 pan. on tho night of the wreck would arrive from Wellington to-morrow and it was essential that his evidence bo taken directly he arrived. Other new witnesses' were passengers and some had come from as far south as Wanganui. Tho Court adjourned until 10 on Tuesday.
