IRISH AFFAIRS.
Press Association.—Copyright. London, Juno 21,
A meeting of the National Directory of the United Irish League, Mr John Redmond presiding, adopted the National Convention’s decision and summoned the people to inaugurate a great virile movement to win full national self-government. It approved Mr Redmond’s decision to withdraw the Nationalist Patty’s general support from Government. At the National Directory meeting a resolution inviting Messrs Healey and O’Brien to re-join the Nationalist party, was rejected. The National Directory recommends that preference on all possible occasions be given to Irish goods over British.
