MORE SEVERE EARTHQUAKES.
Panic In Jamaica. Destruction and Fatalities In Chile. Pre33 Association—Copyright. New Toes, June 14. Word from Kingston states that an earthquake from the south-east was especially severe in Port Eoyal, destroying the walls o£ temporary buildings under construction there. Dur'ng a dash for the open forty of the Eoyal Garrison Artillery and ltoyol Engineers were injured, eleven seriously, and fifteen were conveyed to the hospital. Tho panic was intensified by a curious turbulence of the sea near the coast. Six soldiers of the West India Begimeut were injured at tTppark while making a similar dash. • ■,. Valparaiso, June 14. An earthquake destroyed a number of houses and two railway bridges at Valdina. Five persons were killed.
