ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Press Association. Westport, Juno 7. A miner namod John Leoce, about -15 years, married, with ten in his family, died in tho hospital to-night as the result of a fall of coal in Westport Coal Co.'a Mine Creek mine this afternoon. Doceased was formerly a newspaper proprietor in New South Wales. Dunedin, Juno 7. John Williams, a widower, aged 73, was found dead in bed this afternoon. Death is supposed to havo been from .natural causes. Tho surroundings were dirty and squalid. A P.O. bank book with a credit balance of £l4O was found in tho house
