TOWN CLERK IN TROUBLE.
Per Press Association. Waimate, Juno 7. To-day G. H. Parsons,Town Clerk here, was brought before Mayor Weddoll, S.M , on several informations charging him with misappropriation of moneya belonging to the Borough Council and Domain Board, also of the Gas Company, of which ho was secretary. Tho various amounts disclosed by the informations totalled ,£533. Accused was romanded to Thursday next, bail boing allowed, accused in a surety of .£250 and four I surbtios of .£OO each.-
