OHAKEA SCHOOL BALL.
The ideal dancing weather provailing last evening largely contri buted to tho success, of tho ahovo event, which was held in tho Saudon Town Hall last night. A largo numbor of visitors from the neighbouring towns woro present, all assisting to make tho function ono of tho most social and ploaseant gatherings that has over been held in this "district. Tho School Ooininittoe had made complete arrangements for tho comfort of all. The supper, undor tho management of the ladios, was arranged § and sorvod with thoir usual good tastoand skill. An extraordinary foaturo of the ovoning was tho oxoollont music provided, each porformer being an accomplished musician. On bohalf of tho Committee Mr J. MoNab thanked those x iros °nt for thoir attendance, and a most successful evening's mimsomout broke up at about two in tho morning.
