The . backers .of. Speeiosa wero caused considerable anxiety by her getting rid of F. D. Jones twice, and clearing out tho second timo, but hejwas eventually caught and brought back to the tapes. Nanmai and Speeiosa wero quickest ,to begin, and the latter was in front coming round tho bend, but dropped back beaten soon after entering tho straight. Warlock camo fast from tho disianco, and ran home a very easy winner by two lengths. Timo, lmin 36 4-sth sec. Dividends, £4. 6s and £3 6s.
