Press Association —Copyright. London, June 3. The Education Conference, in discussing what place history and geography should occupy in the scheme of education, Mr 11. A. Fisher, of New College, Oxford, advised Colonial Universities to study modern European history. He believed Australian and Canadian newspapers revealed groat ignorance of the conditions of European politics. The Colonial Universities would be able to correct such ignorance, especially as Government had notified its decision to arrange an official Education Conference in'l9ll as the first regular service.
