Stock Report.
Tho New Zonhvnd Loan and Mercantile Agency Compay, Ltd., Feilding, report or week ending 18th May asunder;—Apiti, Tuesday.—A fair yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward. The yarding of sheop consisted principally of lambs, for which there was keen competition. A lino of two-tooth ewes in lamb made 235. Quotations —Sheep : Mixed lambs Bs, 8s fid, 9s, 11s fid and 13s 3d; mixed ages ewes 13s 2d, 3-tooth owes 32s fid. Cattle; Weaners 235, 18-mouths mixed cattle 81a,. 2-year steers £2 14s fid, steers £3 12s, £3 14s; steers £4 19s, springing cows £2 18s, £3. Feilding, Friday.—There was a good yarding of both slioop and cattle. Prices all round wore a shade easier than last week, but we were successful in quitting all lines with the exception of one or two email pens. Quotations.— Sheop ; lambs inferior 7s lid to 9s, medium 10s to 11s lid, cnll ewes 8s to 8s 2d, cull wethers 12s 9d to 13s od, 2-tooth wethers 15s lOd, empty ewes 12s Sd. Cattle; Woauers 12s Od to IBs, yearlings 80s, empty heifers 80s to 88s, store cows 27s fid to 83s fid, forward cows £2 10s to £3 9s, bulls Bus to £3 10s.
