THE COMET.

The information supplied by the Hon. Director of the Wanganui Observatory is to the point, for it throws new light on the position and magnitude of the comet. Such wholesale evidence, indeed, I cannot ignore. These gentlemen will hear from me again when the confirmation arrives from abroad. In the meantime I beg leave to compliment the Hon.
