SHOOTING.

Manchester Rifles. Manchester Rifles fired the sixth competition for Company belts on Saturday. The wind was tricky and light showers of rain fell at intervals. Conditions, 7 shots at each range. Scores: — First Class.

This competition carried cash prizes, and with handicaps the winners were— Sergt. Eisher 85—6 —90, Vol. Parker 88 —o—BB, Yol. Mayhew 80 —B—BB,8—88, Vol. Evans 85 —o—Bs, Sgt. Trask 70 —10 —80.

Yols. Belk, J. Blunden, Fitzherbert and Crook win cash prizes. There is one more competition for the belts and medals, which is a compulsory counter, and will also carry cash prizes for which competitors will be handicapped.
