Per Press Association. Invercargill, April 15. Thos. Rankin, a donkeyman on the Moeraki, had his thumb caught in a winch-to-day and pulled off at the second joint Christchurch, April 16. A middle aged man, name fuuknown, apparently a farm labourer, fell off the second 'South opxress at Addington atinoou to-day and was instantaneously killed. Ke had a return ticket to Rakaia in his pocket.
