PROPOSED ROYAL SHOW.

OnuisTcmmcir, April 11
At tho A. find P. Association meeting yesterday the delegates of the Agricultural Conference recommended that the following resolutions be submitted to tho Agricultural Conference :—l. That Gov; eminent be anted' to contribute tlm sum of £IOOO to be given to the Cam terbury A. and P. Association and tho Mauawatu A. and P. Association each alternate year, the sum to bo added to tho prize fund of the above Associations for the purpose of holding a Royal Show 3. That it is desirable that Government should establish an experimental farm m Canterbury. Tho resolutions were adopted.
