Paraekaretu Sports.
To-morrow tho above sports will toko place oil Messrs Aiken's ami Birthorpo's property near Silverhope. No time aud expense has been spared to set everything in first class order, Scf iClub deserve, hearty pulbic support. The piogramme is decidedly attractive and satisfactory entries should be received. The programme consists principally of horse events, and as aleapital course has been made some first class racing will be witnessed. A capital day's outing may bo ex - meted by lovers of sport. At the last meeting of the committee reports vr n-e "■ handed in showing that pa. la-ge number of members' tickets livl' been sold, and several good trophies promised. One or two items were inadvertently omitted from the advertised programme, viz., that bitting will not be allowed on the ground, and that owing to sheep being in the adjoining paddocks any logs brought must be tied up. . fflarton Sports.
