A BANKRUPTCY POINT.

Per Press Association. Napieg, April 9. A curious point has just been decided by Justice Chapman as to the distribution of a bankrupt's assets where a second petition in bankruptcy had been filed before discharge on the lii'st was granted. Justice Chapman decided that creditors in the first bankruptcy were entitled to the assets under the second insolvency. In concluding his judgment His Honor says tho result is no doubt hard on the latter creditors, but that is no ground for depriving the first set of creditors of what the 'Bankruptcy Act clearly says is theirs.
