AUCKLAND SLAUGHTERMEN.

Press Association. Auckland, April 8. A well attended meeting of the Auckland slaughtermen's Union decided to ask the Arbitration Coprt to include Now Plymouth iu the Auckland award, and passed a resolution expressing sympathy with the Australian slaughtermen who were unjustly charged' with promoting the Now’ Zealand strike, and regretting 1 the serious charge made against the Minister of’Labor by'the Trades Conference. The meeting considered both charges wore the result of a misunderstanding. The resolution was concluded with:—“We have . every confidence m the purity of the motives of the Minister of Labour, and trust nothing may transpire in future to mar the fraternal working of our follow tradesmen of Australia aud the harmonious workiug of the Department of Labour to the mutual interests of all concerned.”
