The Now York correspoudeut of the Times states that President Roosevelt considers . the Harrimau affair the beginning of the campaign, with a view firstly to prejudicing early legislation to chock overcapitalization of railways, secondly assuring the preponderance of magnates in the next National Convention.
Renter reports that it is authoritatively stated at the White House that the so-called Hoarst-Harrimau-Roekfellcr combination has raised five millions dollars for a campaign against Roosevelt. New York, April 5.
Mr Harrimau’s late stenographer, P. Hill, has been arrested for selling to the Now York World Harrimau’s letter concerning Roosevelt.
