(From Our Own Correspondent!. During tho past mouth Sandon Block has presented quite » busy appearance. Mr Shaplovsky, witli about 15 men, lias been metalling the road I’roru Mr Colo’s to Mr Caddy’s. Saudon Block will now be able to fly into Huntorvillo by motor. A mooting of those interested in forming a social club was held in the school on Thursday last. About 10 rolled up to the meeting. Mr Stem was voted to tho chair. It was resolved that tho club meet every Thursday night. Messrs B. Meads, T. Smith and R. Craig are at present on a trip tn Auckland. They propose visiting the Hot Lakes district on their return journey. The local school was examined by Mr Milne on Wednesday. Average temperature -for mouth (10.77, rainfall from Ist to 2Sth March 8.39 inches.
