THE POLO TOURNAMENT.

Per Press Association Hastings, March 22.

The weather was again line for the polo tournament. Raugitikoi A met Hawke’s Bay B and easily defeated them by 19 to 3. Dalrymple scored eight goals for the winners, H. Wilson three, N. Wilson four, R. Wilson four. Mackenzie and Hill scored for Hawke’s Bay, The final for the Savillo Cup now lies between Eaugitikei A and Hawke’s Bay A, and will be played tomorrow. Matches for the Handicap Cup commenced this morning, Wanganui, handicap 16, playing Wellington B, 15, the latter winning by nine to nil, The teams were Wellington—W, Strang, Nathan, Arnold, Williams (substitute for Ballauce). Wanganui—Giesen, McLeod, Higgle, Morton. Williams and Strang scored the goals for the winners. Wellington A (10) beat Bangitikei B (9) after a well-contested game by ten to nine.

Mangawhora (II) easily beat Fern Flats (IS).
