A quiet but grotty wedding took pla.co'at tlio Presbyterian CirurcU, Marion, on Wednesday last, when Mr Frederick George Head, of Mart-cm, ■yyas married to Miss Christina Gray, second daughter of Mr J. Cbirnside, gf Jkjaufrahoe, The bride, who was given away by her father, >vore a dress of cream silk voile trimmed with fucked sill? and insertion, and the or. iUodo£ veil and orange blossoms and carried a beautiful shower bouquet, the gift of Miss Gronn. The brides. maids were Miss Jessie Atkins, Napier, cousin of the bride, who wore a pretty chanipagno-coloured dress with hat to match and carried a bouquet of whito flowers, and two littlo nieces of the bride—the Misses Olivo and Ivy Watt, who wore dainty white hailstone muslin frocks, muslin hats and carriedbaskets of flowers. The wedding march was played by Miss O. McGregor. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at afternoon tea by the mother of the bride at the Druids' Hall Wiien the usual toasts were duly honoured. The cake, a handsome three-decker and a present to the bride, was made bv her sister, Mrs W. A. Watt. Mr and Mrs Head left for thoir new home amidst showers of rice and good wishes. The presents were very pretty, as well as useful, including several cheques. The bride's travelling dress was a dark green coat and skirt with cream silk vest and cream toque.
