Offing to the impossibility of securing a suitable cite for a Technical University, it has now been deoiled to erect a Public Monument in Wellington to the memory of the late Right R. J. Seddon. The monument is intended to to a National Memorial, and it is hoped that the- inhabitants of Martoa and its neighbourhood will heartily support the movement. Subscriptions in any sums from one shilling upwards will be fdadly received aad duly acknowledged.
