Lord Loroburn’s Judicature Bill bas been read a second time in the House of Lords. It enables the Court of Appeal to sit with two judges instead of throe in order to overtake arrears.

Lord Lausdowno expressed the foar that the public would regard the measure with suspicion. Lords Alverstone, Collins, and James supported the Bill as a temporary measure.

Tho Bar Committee and Incorporated Law Society disapprove of the innovation.
