HALCOMBE PRIMITIVE METHODISTS.

Tho quarterlv meeting of tlio Primitive Methodist Halcombe Circuit was held at Isla Park on Tuesday evouini; last. Owing to tho busy Reason the number of representatives was not largo. A good deal of routine work was gone through. The membership remains unaltered and iiuances were considered satisfactory. Tho sinall deficiency will be more than liquidated by the Harvest Thanksgiving effort to be held on April 7tli and Bth. The delegates to the conference in New -Plymouth were heartily thanked for their services. Tho prospects of the Circuit were considered encouraging. Harvest Thanksgiving services were held in the Beaconsfleld Clvnrch last Sunday and Monday and were enthusiastic and successful. On Monday evening a lecture on "The Tongue" was delivered by Rev. J. Clover. Musical items were also rendered and the gifts of produce and fruit were disposed of.
