Hoilis—Walters.
A pretty wedding took place at St. Thomas’ Church, Wellington South, on February 20th, when Cecil Charles Hollis was married to Annie Ethel (Effio) Walters. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very pretty in a dress of white silk trimmed with lovely lace and true-lovers’ knots. The tulle veil was worked by the bride herself, and was fastened with a wreath of orange blossoms, and.she carried as a bouquet a sheaf of lilies. The two bridesmaids, Miss Jessie Hollis and Miss Nellie Walters, wore charming (treses of blue draped with string-coloured net, and Mario Stuart caps, and -they carried bouquets of sweet peas and dark foliage. The best man was Mr Arthur Hollis, who was supported by Mr W. Hollis. After the ceremony a reception, attended by numerous friends, was held at Soarle’s, after which Mr and Mrs Hollis loft for their wedding trip, which will be spent in the Wairarapa. The bride’s travelling dress was a biscuit-coloured embroidered voile with toque to match.
