The men at Mataura finished killing special lines for owners to-day, and left the works. Tho company intend to spend this week overhauling tho machinery. Meantime they say the advertisement for new men is receiving a fair response and they hope to resume regular killing operations with a now board on Monday. The Ocean Beach men finished special killing to-night. Tho Wallacotown men are still killing for owners on the same conditions, but expect to finish to-morrow morning. CiiETsrcnuHcir, March 5, Before the Arbitration Court to-daj 130 slaughtermen from Islington anil Belfast Works wore charged with broach of Section 15 of the Conciliation and Arbitration Act, the clause designed to make strikes and lockouts illegal.
